My mother-in-law had been in assisted living and a memory care unit declining from Alzheimer's Disease. Doctors recommended we find a skilled nursing home for her along with comfort care services from Hospice. Halstad Living Center knew her stay with them would not be long and her care level was high, but they treated her so well. Music was the only connect left for her and their staff would take time to sing with her, take her for short walks and spent lots of extra time helping her eat. She was only at Halstad Living Center for 5 weeks when she passed away. Their administration and staff were so kind to our family and we are so glad we made the choice of Halstad Living Center for her end of life care. They, along with Hospice, made her journey comfortable and she was treated with the utmost dignity and respect.
